Meet Aaron

It was a fateful night in 2008 when Aaron reluctantly agreed to audition for a role in a Springhouse Theatre production of Much Ado About Nothing, when he saw Elaina across the room. At the time he was a part-time youth pastor, full time copy-fax-and-mail guy and it didn’t take long for his and Elaina’s paths to be intwined forever. Soon after they married and he worked in communications and then project management for a global Fortune 500 company in Franklin TN. In 2024 he left that all behind to focus on their family farm and four children. His love of the land has been a welcome change of pace.

Organic micro-greens and garden produce, along with farm fresh eggs and honey have become his favorite project to manage.

Meet Elaina

A farm girl at heart. Elaina’s family have lived and farmed the Fablewood Farm area since 1846. It is registered as a Century Family Farm with the state of Tennessee. It was always a dream to one day live on a piece of the original 500-acre farm and raise her children here and in 2022 that dream became a reality.

Professionally, Elaina has directed youth theatre and taught creative writing for the past 20 years along with homeschooling their four children. Her love of this farm and her desire to live and work here became the new passion project. In the last year she and Aaron decided to bring their love of farm life and theatre to their very front porch with theatre classes, camps, and productions featuring local youth ages 6-16.

For her, there is joy in tending the ground to produce beautiful things-both the ‘ground’ of the minds of her students and the ground of her own garden.
